🌴 What to do in Ibiza? Explore the south of the island

South Ibiza is undoubtedly the most spectacular region. It was also our favorite during our road trip, especially for its crystal-clear waters and stunning coves.

 1. Cala Comte (or Cala Conta)

Located in the southwest, near Sant Josep de sa Talaia, this beach is one of the most famous on the island. With its turquoise waters and fine sand, it stretches for about 600 meters and is divided into two coves.

To fully enjoy it, opt for an early morning visit or at sunset. The spectacle is simply incredible.

👉 Insider tip: the Sunset Ashram restaurant is perfect for admiring the sunset.

2. Cala Tarida

This large, family-friendly beach offers several restaurants and hotels. Although there is little shade, it is ideal for relaxing. Don't miss a walk up to the hills to discover the charming fishermen's houses.

3. Cala d'Hort

This spot is known for its breathtaking view of Es Vedrà. Very touristy, it is nonetheless a must-see.

4. Es Vedrà

It's impossible to visit Ibiza without admiring this mythical rock. Visible from several points on the island, it fascinates as much for its beauty as for the legends that surround it. Some say it's one of the most magnetic spots in the world!

The best time to go is at sunset. Pack a picnic and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, often accompanied by music.

5. Dalt Vila

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ibiza's old town is a true gem. Cobblestone streets, whitewashed facades, and colorful terraces create a unique atmosphere. Wear comfortable shoes to explore this hilly neighborhood, and treat yourself to a break on a terrace, like S'Escalinata.

6. Sa Caleta (Es Bol Nou)

This enchanting spot combines fine sand, red cliffs, and pine trees. The contrast of colors is magnificent. Exploring the higher ground, you might even discover a very photogenic hidden cave.

🌿 What to do in Ibiza? Discover the north of the island

Wilder and more unspoiled, the north of Ibiza is also worth a visit. The atmosphere is more authentic and peaceful.

1. Cala Xarraca

This natural cove is ideal for a stroll. While not perfect for swimming (due to seaweed and rocks), it remains a beautiful spot.

👉 Nearby, the Los Enamorados restaurant is an excellent choice.

2. Las Dalias Hippy Market

This famous hippie market offers a wide variety of handcrafted goods: clothing, decorative items, accessories, and more. The atmosphere is relaxed, with music playing, and several restaurants and terraces to enjoy the moment. It takes place every Saturday from May 1st to October 31st.

In summary

Ibiza is a complete destination that combines:

• idyllic beaches

• natural landscapes

• historical heritage

• festive atmosphere

👉 Whether you're looking for relaxation, nature, or cultural discoveries, the island will charm you.
